Meet Our Team
East Coast Psychotherapy & Trauma Clinic
Our therapists bring diverse approaches and comfort levels around their online presence. As a Practice focused on trauma care, we recognize that choice is essential, for our clients and for our team. We support our clients’ autonomy over their therapeutic journeys, and we respect each therapist’s decision about how they show up in this space. Some choose not to share photos, while others do, but all are committed to offering the same thoughtful, compassionate and high standard of care.

Meet Our Administrative Team
Yolyana Gobran BSc, MACP Candidate
Intake Specialist
As an intake specialist, I aim to provide a warm and supportive experience for individuals seeking therapy. My focus is on making clients feel understood and cared for during their first steps, ensuring they are connected with the therapist who best suits their needs. I am committed to making the intake process as smooth and reassuring as possible, helping clients feel at ease as they begin their journey toward growth and healing.
Outside of work, I love creating things from scratch—whether it’s a new sculpture or a piece of art, the process of bringing an idea to life keeps me inspired and reminds me of the endless possibilities of creativity.

Monica Boles BEng
Intake Specialist
As an Intake Specialist, I’m often the first person clients connect with when reaching out to our clinic. My goal is to make that first step feel comfortable and reassuring. I understand how important it is to feel supported when beginning therapy, and I take the time to listen, answer questions, and guide each person through the process with warmth and care.
With a background in mental health administration and education, I value creating an organized and compassionate experience for every client. I believe that kindness and understanding help set the foundation for healing, and I’m grateful to be part of a team that shares that same commitment to care.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and dog, trying new recipes, and going on long walks. I bring that same sense of curiosity, balance, and empathy into my work each day, helping clients feel seen, heard, and supported from the very beginning.

Janice Henwood
Administrative Coordinator
While clients may not have direct contact with me, I am happily working behind the scenes at East Coast Psychotherapy and Trauma Clinic to assist with all things operational.
Following studies in medical administration at Mount Saint Vincent University, I worked at Dalhousie Medical School, the Provincial Dental Board of NS, and was office manager for a family physician in rural Nova Scotia. Most recently, I assisted in the operation of a wrap around business resource centre. Supporting my team and making the services we offer better, whatever the workplace, has always been my purpose.
I am excited to work with Beth and the team at East Coast Psychotherapy and Trauma Clinic to assist in their commitment to provide safe, timely and effective care.
If you have any questions, please get in touch with her at admin@eastcoastpsychotherapy.ca
