A compassionate space to begin

If you are feeling overwhelmed, burned out, stuck, or unsure how to move forward, you do not have to sort through it alone. With more than 25 years of experience as a frontline Social Worker in healthcare and community-based settings, I bring a grounded, compassionate, and practical approach to therapy. My work is trauma-sensitive and collaborative, offering a space where you can feel heard, supported, and respected as we make sense of what is happening.

Areas of focus

I have a strong interest in women’s health and the many ways physical and emotional well-being are connected. I understand that stress, trauma, caregiving, life transitions, and health concerns can affect every part of a person’s life, which is why I take a holistic approach rather than focusing on one issue in isolation. I particularly enjoy supporting adults who are navigating burnout, compassion fatigue, caregiving stress, parenting challenges, relationship concerns, low mood, anxiety, and first responder trauma.

How we may work together

In our work together, I will meet you where you are. I draw from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, mindfulness, and trauma processing to help you better understand the connection between your past and present experiences. My hope is that therapy feels like a steady, supportive place where you can gain clarity, reconnect with your strengths, and leave with practical strategies that help you feel more connected to yourself, your relationships, and your life.

Blog Article, titled “Moving from Striving to Thriving” (May, 2026)

During my free time, I enjoy gardening, reading, camping and spending time with my family and friends. I find my peace when I’m in nature – especially by the ocean. Although, I can often be found thrift shopping as well as I love a good deal!
