If you are here, chances are something in your life feels heavier than it used to. Maybe you are feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, navigating a difficult life transition, carrying the weight of past experiences, or simply trying to make sense of emotions that feel hard to put into words. Whatever has brought you here, you don’t have to figure it out on your own.

Starting therapy can feel intimidating. It takes courage to open up to someone new, especially when you have been carrying things on your own for a long time. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and accepted without judgment. I believe that meaningful change begins with a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust, collaboration, and genuine curiosity about your unique experiences.

As a counselling therapist intern, I take a person-centred and integrative approach to therapy, recognizing that no two people experience life’s challenges in the same way. My work is informed by cognitive behavioural and trauma-informed perspectives, while remaining flexible to meet your individual needs and goals. Together, we will explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences in a way that helps you better understand yourself and develop practical strategies you can carry into your everyday life.

My perspective has also been shaped by supporting individuals in community and crisis settings, where I have seen the importance of meeting people with compassion, patience, and respect. I approach counselling with cultural humility, recognizing that our identities, relationships, cultures, and lived experiences all play important roles in shaping mental health and well-being.

Whether you are seeking support for anxiety, stress, life transitions, self-esteem, or simply looking for a space to understand yourself better, I am committed to walking alongside you throughout the process. Therapy is not about having all the answers. It is about creating a space where you can explore, heal, and grow at your own pace.

Outside of therapy, I enjoy long walks with my headphones on, usually listening to music. A good anime series or Asian drama is my favourite way to unwind. Home is shared with two opinionated cats who like to remind me that they’re in charge, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
