Full Bio
I work with people who carry complex trauma in their bodies and nervous systems. Some are first responders, veterans, or active military personnel. Others are living through forced displacement from war or genocide. Many of the adults I see are navigating the long echoes of early attachment wounds and unhealthy family-of-origin dynamics. They’ve learned to survive—now they’re learning how to heal.
I understand what it means to feel let down by larger systems that are meant to help, only to be met with delays, uncertainty, or a sense of being lost in the process. After nearly two decades working in large-scale public-sector systems, I observed that care often didn’t align with what people actually needed. Too often, the treatments available weren’t keeping pace with emerging research – missing opportunities to offer real relief and more effective paths to healing. That’s why I left. In 2013, I founded my private practice to offer something better: care that is safe, timely, and effective.
I bring a steady, grounded presence to the therapy space. I work with compassion and curiosity, and I’m not afraid to name the hard things when it’s helpful. I see therapy as a collaborative process: I’ll sit with you in the hard stuff, and I’ll also help you identify the blind spots that are keeping you stuck. Step by step, we’ll work toward a life that has more clarity, more certainty, and ultimately feels more your own.
I specialize in working with adults living with PTSD and C-PTSD, dissociative disorders, and attachment trauma. I have also received specialized training to work with individuals impacted by war and the effects of displacement due to conflict. Other areas of practice include supporting women navigating sexual health concerns and infertility, as well as individuals impacted by functional neurological symptoms such as PNES. And of particular interest to me are the many people I work with who come from families that seemed fine on the surface—low conflict but also low effort—and are only now realizing how deeply that shaped their self-worth.
The clients who do best with me are open. Open to curiosity, to reflection, to facing hard truths, and to trying something different. Change doesn’t have to happen fast—but it does need to be meaningful.
I remain deeply committed to supporting healing through compassionate, evidence-informed care–both in my own practice and through the work of our dedicated team.

“It’s always felt curative, walking the dogs… I’ve felt many a problem solved in the quiet, steady transmissions through a leash… In walking dogs, my heart endures.”
