Full Bio
Working with teens and young adults navigating life’s challenges has been a passion of mine from the start of my career. I spent over ten years teaching in public schools across Canada only to find that my true passion lies in helping our young friends move through the hard times of life. Trying to create an inviting, warm, and welcoming environment where people can come and feel safer to be who they are and open up is my main concern along side listening to what it is they are saying as well as their bodies.
After spending the past decade living and working out west, I’m excited to have moved to the area and to join East Coast Psychotherapy & Trauma Clinic as a clinician working with children, adolescents, and young adults. I’m passionate about supporting young people through life’s challenges and committed to creating a warm, collaborative, and developmentally attuned therapeutic space.
Outside of my clinical work, I’m a proud mama of two littles and love spending time with my family. I enjoy a wide range of creative and outdoor activities, including knitting, quilting, painting, reading, trail running, camping, paddling, climbing, hiking, skiing, and biking. I even have a personal goal of building an at-home climbing wall—something that reflects my belief in play, exploration, and hands-on learning.
I look forward to supporting young people as they build confidence, resilience, and a stronger connection to themselves.
